Our team were honoured to spend a day volunteering recently at Leuchie House, a fantastic independent charity that provides support to people and their families living with the devasting effects of long term and life-limiting health conditions.

Leuchie House is a national respite charity dedicated to offering life-changing holidays for individuals coping with neurological conditions like MS, MND, stroke and Parkinson’s. Their mission extends beyond providing rejuvenating breaks; they offer solace to caregivers and families, granting them a much-needed reprieve from their responsibilities. With 300 breaks offered annually,  there is a pressing need for more support, as the number of those facing these hurdles continues to rise.

It is so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine of our work and personal lives and forget how privileged we are so it’s important to us as a team to take a step back from time-to-time and ask what little bit of good we might be able to do for those less fortunate in our communities.

Our painting and gardening is insignificant in comparison to the amazing team at Leuchie who are without a doubt the most enthusiastic and caring bunch of people, really making a difference to their guests, but we hope we managed to help a little.
